Unveiling the Essence of Mrs. Franchy’s Evil Ring: Healing and Self-Discovery

During a hectic week, month and really a year where everything seemed to be splitting into pieces around me I got the best news: Mrs. Franchy’s Evil Ring won two awards during fall 2024 BookFest Awards and I am so ecstatic about it. This book is the book of my heart, let me explain.

Mrs. Franchy’s Evil Ring: The Little Book That Could

Through this book I finally explored my childhood and everything that I had chosen to look away from. It was tough. So tough it prompted me to seek therapy. This was a blessing, but at the time it felt crushing. Really everything felt heavy. But that was not the only thing going on in my life.

I had my stepchildren living with me and my husband. It was COVID quarantine. School for me and the kids was completely virtual and the interactions with my stepchildren kept bringing up the time I was their age and living in my stepmother’s house. They say that coincidences are no such thing and that coincidences are in fact just blessings or openings from the universe or this creator that puts things in place so we can learn something from them. That year I learned so much.

Three Things Mrs. Franchy’s Evil Ring Taught Me

I learned that therapy is lifesaving.

I learned that self forgiveness is necessary.

I learned that love really cures it all.

From all that I learned Mrs. Franchy’s Evil Ring was born. So now that I am in the midst of a tough temporaria of my life, I know that this soon will pass and that moments like this (winning two awards for the book of my heart) will come and that in the end everything will be alright.

I am so proud of this book because of everything that it taught me, gave me and continues to give me and I want to share it with you. If you are part of a blended family or if you felt like an outcast who is not believed in your own home this book will sprinkle a bit of hope your way and will give you a big hug. Pick it up.

PS: I can now say I am an award winning author!
